We planted our first garden together in 2018 on a one-acre property in North Carolina. We borrowed a tiller from Matthew's parents and went to work! We were thrilled when squash magically grew (before the squash bugs got them!), corn stalks magically soared, potatoes magically multiplied, and tomato vines magically climbed.

In 2021 we moved to our ~16 acre property near Athens, Ohio. This dreamy property boasted rolling hills and gorgeous sunrise views. We set to work on a list of projects to slowly grow our fledgling farm. We officially began Sunrise Meadows Farm in March 2023.

We're happy to now labor over a small apple and pear orchard, a noisy flock of happy chickens, vegetable gardens,  a strawberry patch, blueberry and rose bushes, flower fields, a small sweet cat, and two little humans.

The magic of growing (plants, and otherwise) never gets old.

Meet Malcolm the cat! Malcolm joined us on the farm in 2022. When he isn't working hard holding the tractor down, he keeps little critters away from the farm. He is a cuddler and loves head rubs.
